Skida Friends of Liz

New Year, New Liz!

As we head into another Olympic year, we are thrilled to release a new 2018 Friends of Liz collection! The collaboration with Liz continues with this very fun and bright print to support her in pursuit of a third Winter Olympic games.

US Nordic teammates Liz Stephen and Jessie Diggins share the love in the finish area.

Meet our friend, Liz

Liz is a member of the US Ski Team, a two-time Olympian and seasoned competitor on the World Cup circuit. She is known throughout the race community as one of the best climbers in the world! She packs a ton of strength, energy, and enthusiasm into her small frame, giving truth to one of our favorite phrases - dynamite comes in small packages!

Update from the International Circuit

We caught up with Liz on the road, right before the start of the New Year:

I’m currently driving to Lenzerheide, Switzerland to start my 7th Tour de Ski, which will begin this Saturday with a skate sprint. The format will be the normal 7 races in 9 days and taking us to three different countries. Each day accumulates on the one before and on the 9th day the winner will be the first to cross the finish line at the top of the alpine mountain in Italy called Alp Cermis. It is by far my favorite series of the year, as whether you are having good or bad races, you don’t have time to let the results sink in and affect you, you are just constantly onto the next race, the next venue, the recovery protocols, eating, sleeping and doing it all again the next day. What better way to bring in the New Year than with a bunch of races? So, come on in 2018! I can’t wait to see what this new year will bring!"
