Ski-athon'ing for the High Fives Foundation

Posted on 06 March 2017

This very cold weekend we embraced winter's single digits and retro threads with every swish turn and spread eagle. We joined up with 244 skiers and boarders at Sugarbush Resort's Valley House lift for the sixth annual Fat Ski-A-Thon hosted by the High Fives Foundation.  Participants skied "fun laps" under blue Vermont skies in celebration of the most successful fundraiser that the foundation has ever hosted in its history!

High Fives provides grants to mountain sport athletes who suffer from life-altering injuries such as spinal cord or brain injuries.  They also teach safety awareness and smart decision making at schools locally in Northern Vermont and across the country.

Kicking it off with a little jig to get this high-fivin' party started at Sugarbush Resort yesterday.

Space walking around Sugarbush on a bluebird day.  4F and spring skiing is just a state of mind!

We kicked up dust, showed our flair, and logged some hot laps for the foundation!
