On October 18, 2019, Christina Koch and Jessica Meir became the first women in history to complete an all-female spacewalk. The pair spent five-and-a-half hours tethered to the International Space Station while they repaired a battery component. While a momentous event, this spacewalk - years in the making - has restarted the conversation about women in space. Read more in The Atlantic.
