Position Summary:
Skida is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and creative Director of Marketing to lead our brand into its next chapter of growth. This role blends analytical rigor with imaginative storytelling to shape Skida’s presence across all channels. You will own our direct-to-consumer performance, guide the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy at least a year ahead, and ensure every digital and brand touchpoint reflects Skida’s joyful, adventurous ethos.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader with a deep understanding of D2C growth, creative marketing, and the outdoor/lifestyle consumer. You will lead a talented team across Brand and E-Commerce, fostering collaboration, curiosity, and executional excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Go-To-Market Leadership
- Build and lead Skida’s annual + seasonal marketing strategy through a structured GTM process.
- Align cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Operations) around key priorities, calendars, and forecasts.
- Translate company goals into clear marketing KPIs and measurable outcomes.
- Guide integrated campaign and storytelling calendars across E-Commerce, Wholesale, Custom, and Retail.
Performance Marketing & Customer Insights
- Serve as Skida’s customer insights expert—segmenting audiences, analyzing behavior, and maximizing LTV through Shopify, Klaviyo, and GA4.
- Own paid and owned channel performance, setting ROAS and CAC/LTV targets and steering spend for maximum ROI.
- Lead A/B testing and rapid experimentation across digital channels.
- Present monthly performance insights and optimization recommendations.
E-Commerce & Digital Growth
- Own D2C business results, partnering on revenue, conversion, and channel-level goals.
- Champion UX enhancements and site-content strategy to improve engagement and conversion.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to synchronize demand planning and site readiness.
- Innovate Skida’s digital experience to deepen loyalty and elevate brand delight.
Campaign Development & Creative Expression
- Transform product and brand strategy into compelling, integrated marketing campaigns.
- Lead campaign briefs and ensure all creative assets reflect Skida’s values, personality, and visual identity.
- Oversee partnerships, collaborations, and PR activations that expand brand visibility and community connection.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead monthly marketing performance reviews and action planning.
- Ensure marketing decisions are informed by product, merchandising, and customer data.
- Align with Sales on channel-focused messaging, assets, and activation plans.
- Manage the marketing budget with Finance, balancing creativity with measurable business impact.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor, coach, and inspire the Brand and E-Commerce teams.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Keep the team informed on consumer trends, digital innovations, and competitive shifts.
- Build team capabilities in data literacy, campaign development, and cross-functional communication.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years in marketing, D2C, or e-commerce roles; experience in outdoor, lifestyle, or consumer goods preferred.
- Proven leadership across creative and analytical teams.
- Expertise in Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Ads, and full-funnel digital strategy.
- Strong ability to blend brand storytelling with data-driven decision making.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- A creative leader with an eye for detail and a passion for building culturally relevant, joyful, and high-performing campaigns.
Success Metrics
- Growth in ROAS, LTV, conversion rate, email engagement, and other performance KPIs.
- Cohesive, on-time execution of campaign + product calendars.
- Effective alignment between Marketing, Sales, and Product.
- D2C revenue growth and improved customer retention.
- Creative innovation through trend-informed campaigns and partnerships.

The Opportunity
Skida is seeking a Director of Operations to lead their production, supply chain, and fulfillment ecosystem and help propel the company into its next stage of growth. This is a highly strategic role for a systems-minded leader who thrives at the intersection of people, processes, and technology.
Working closely with the CEO and cross-functional leaders, you will architect the operational infrastructure that powers our product launches, ensures reliable inventory flow, and delivers a best-in-class customer experience. You will shape long-term supply planning, strengthen vendor partnerships, optimize 3PL performance, and build scalable systems that support Skida’s momentum.

What You’ll Do
Operational Strategy & Planning
- Lead Skida’s annual and seasonal operational planning, aligning production, fulfillment, and inventory strategy with company growth goals.
- Oversee S&OP, integrating inputs across Product, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to drive forecasting.
- Support cashflow forecasting and inventory investment planning in partnership with Finance.
- Translate high-level business goals into actionable, measurable operational outcomes.
Supply Chain, Production & Fulfillment Leadership
- Provide strategic direction to the Production Manager and guide long-term supply, vendor, and sourcing strategy.
- Oversee 3PL relationships and ensure seamless coordination between in-house production and external distribution partners.
- Anticipate supply constraints, align inventory to demand, and mitigate operational risk.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs to ensure efficiency, accuracy, cost management, and quality.
Systems, Technology & Data Integration
- Own Skida’s operations systems roadmap, ensuring integrations across ERP, 3PL, Shopify, Brightpearl, Deskera, and more.
- Drive system automation, process streamlining, and data integrity to support transparency and scale.
- Act as the point person for IT-related systems planning and vendor coordination.
Process Optimization & Risk Management
- Implement process improvements that increase accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency.
- Lead risk mitigation planning related to supply chain disruptions, vendor performance, and systems stability.
- Support sustainability, ethical sourcing, and Skida’s broader environmental goals.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and lead operations team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and growth.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to ensure operational readiness for product launches and promotional cycles.
- Serve as a key communication link between leadership and operational teams.
What You Bring
- 7–10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or production management in consumer goods, apparel, or similar industries.
- Strong systems and technology orientation, including experience with ERP and fulfillment platforms.
- Proven ability to lead S&OP, manage complex vendor networks, and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Financial acumen in costing, inventory investment, and cashflow decision-making.
- Experience building teams, optimizing processes, and scaling operations in a growth environment.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
