Hey, hi, howdy!

This moment in July feels like the smack dab middle of summer: the sun is high, trails are dry, and Viska Pants are officially my go-to SPF! Between big mountain trail runs and big plans at Skida HQ, this season has brought me to some very special places.  I wanted to share a few highlights and what’s on the horizon ~

 Earlier this month, I joined the U.S. Ski Team Partner Summit in Park City—touring the training center, catching up with athletes, and feeling the Olympic energy build toward Milan Cortina. Let’s just say we’re *very* hyped to be part of their journey. 🇺🇸🎿

 Back in Burlington, our team gathered for our annual planning summit to kick off our season of bold new prints, exciting collaborations (like our recent launch with She Sends Foundation), and fun stories to share and inspire your next adventure! 

The next project brought me out to Montana’s Beartooth Pass, where rugged high-alpine landscapes at sunrise became the backdrop for an entirely fresh line of cashmere styles coming to you this fall! Picture this: soft luxurious fibers, dramatic terrain, and yes—mountain goats. 🐐

Montana took hold of me this summer and after wrapping our shoot, I headed north for a just-for-fun river adventure with a dozen friends through the Bob Marshall Wilderness. We (and a string of pack mules) hiked 26 miles to the headwaters of the South Fork of the Flathead River, loaded our rafts, and off we went, embarking on a four day odyssey winding through remote wilderness equipped with fishing rods, bear spray, great attitudes, and a solid sense of adventure.  We experienced rain and shine, rainbows, stunning pastel sunsets, and plenty of healthy cutthroat trout.  🛶 

The best gear earns its stripes outside, and this summer, Skida’s been everywhere: from running wildflower meadows to angling river banks. Thank you for bringing our prints into your summer stories—we love seeing where they go with you!

With many warm weeks ahead, fill them up with maple creemees (🍦) and great memories ✨
