The Making of the Dog Bandana
In the Spring of 2022, Erin from our In-House Production team realized the dogs of Skida were missing something: Skida of their own! Our loyal companions and adventure buddies are a key part of the company culture, so it was only right that could rock the same prints as their owners! A few days later, Erin designed the first prototype of the dog bandana.

Here are some of the very first dog bandana designs, modeled by our very own! Our In House sewers custom-made these with scrap fabric we had left over from Snow Tours and reviews from the pups were paws-itive!
Since the office dog wear-test was a success, we soft-launched the product in our Burlington, VT showroom in Summer 2022.

Since then, our In House Production Team has been fine-tuning the design so our furry friends can be comfortable and cute as possible. They landed on a durable, lightweight & water-resistant fabric (great for puddle jumpers). The finished model also features a loophole to slip the collar through and signature Skida hi-vis patch. ⚡️
Fun fact: While many know that over 90% of our product is made in Vermont, very few know this we also do production right here in Burlington on Kilburn Street!
