Inside the 2025 U.S. Ski & Snowboard Summit

Every June, U.S. Ski & Snowboard welcomes their sponsors, athletes, teammembers and and other changemakers from around the world to gather in Park City for their annual Summit. This year, our founder Corinne represented Skida at the summit to connect, learn, and help shape the future of snow sports. With an olympic year ahead there was a lot to discuss!

"When I’m on the podium, I’m standing there with the hundred people that helped me along the way."

Nick Paige, Freestyle Moguls Team, 2022 Olympian & World Cup Winner

Summit Highlights

The Athletes

The athletes are the heart and soul of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team. There were athletes representing all teams at the summit and many opportunities to connect with them, hear about their experiences and what they are looking forward to in the season, share reflections on the previous year, and get to know who they are beyond their life as an athlete. Special shout out to Skida athlete Julia Kern who we always love to see!

USANA Center of Excellence

Our first stop in Park City was checking out the impressive new U.S. Ski & Snowboard facility, the USANA Center of Excellence. There they provide their athletes with world-class training facilities and educational resources for U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes, coaches, officials, clubs, parents, volunteers and other stakeholders nationwide. It is designed with the intention of bringing together all 10 U.S. Ski & Snowboard teams.

Olympic Prep

It’s a big year ahead for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team with the Milan-Cortina Olympics fast approaching. The organization, along with several partners, shared how they’re preparing for the Winter Games—planning that, in many ways, begins as soon as the previous Olympics end. From training programs and media preparation to merchandise and travel logistics, every detail plays a role in getting our incredible athletes ready to compete on the world stage.

Women in Sport

The last few years of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard summit they have put a great emphasis on what they are doing to support women in sport. This initiative starts at the top of their organization and extends throughout the broader ecosystem. Their HERoic initiative has supported promoting female leadership, hiring female coaches, creating opportunities and mentorship for their female athletes and highlighting women in sport.
