So there are a lot of things I love about this hat- the material is so soft and not itchy, the width around the head is perfect (not too tight or loose), and the minty color is so wintery and flattering. The one thing I would change, though it's not a deal breaker, is that the length of it is almost too roomy. I wish the top of it wasn't so spacious and was a closer fit to my head. If someone had a lot of thick or poofy hair I could see it as being helpful. But seems unlikely that much space is needed in the hat.

I’m glad Skida addressed the sizing issue on these, but it feels like the fleece is thinner than older versions. Disappointing because this was my favorite and warmest hat. It covers my ears fully now, I just wish it was the same thickness as the previous versions. Also the Skida logo and surrounding fabric is larger on this version. I prefer the slightly smaller logo/patterned fabric. Still love the hat.

Ordered the high pile fleece hat . I walk to and from North Station to Beacon street in Boston 4 days a week. All my winter hats are either fully lined or at least lined around the inner band and keep me comfortably warm on those windy and very cold days. I can’t say the same for the unlined Skida fleece hat. Honestly, for $50, it’s my opinion that this hat could have been made with a lining in it . Being a New Englander, I like to buy things made in New England. I thought I was buying a great quality hat from Vermont but actually buying it from Indonesia. My mistake all around.

This is the 2nd moonless hat I ordered….first was a mustard color on sale, and current black one. Love the first one as fits very well but black one smaller which is disappointing.

I purchased the high pile fleece hat and neck warmer for a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska in January. So glad I did! The hat and neck warmer kept me warm and comfortable in temperatures well below zero. Great product!
