Liked this hat so much I gave one to each of my friends for Christmas. They all loved them. Only tricky part is sizing but they all seemed to fit well.
I have always had a problem with hats staying on my head. Skids is the first that actually works - plus they are very warm!

Onyx | Chateau Hat
Love this hat- so comfortable, a little dressier than my other Skida Beanies. The fabric is great and faux fur pom elevates the look just a bit. The fleece lining gives perfect warmth.
The chateau hat is my least favorite Skida hat. I bought the size M/L hat but it is smaller than the alpine hat in the same size and smaller than the high pile fleece hat. The Pom-pom is attached by a single white thread and fell off after I hand-washed the hat and went to wear for the first time. I sewed the pom-pom back on, and kept the hat only because I did not want to bother returning it. I would not recommend this particular style, I am sad to say. I did send a message to customer service reporting my experience with the hat and received a gracious reply.
I was glad when Skida came out with a hat that has a pompom. The Eloise/berry color is just right, plus it’s cute and warm - a great addition to their lineup!
