Great patriotic hat. Love my Skida gear for outdoor activities like XC skiing and running. Go for the bigger size if you dont like the hat creep that eventually leaves your ears uncovered.
Got this for my wife because we have fox on our farm that she loves! Ordered s/m for her, m/l for me. Hats were properly labeled and tagged, but my m/l fit her smaller head better than the s/m. We’re both happy and know sizing/patterning is difficult but wanted to make you aware. Big fans of your company and products!

I love the fabric, ordered the small because …. My head is small but not that tiny. Still too big, need to wear a liner or a buff under to keep it from sliding down over my eyes. And too long, there is plenty of room at the top of hat, I guess I wanted a hat that fit more like a skull cap, like it fit in the model in the catalogue.
I love my Skida hats! They fit great, look gorgeous, and I get compliments on them every time I wear them!
Love the first frost pattern on the pursuit hat. My husband loves wearing it on chilly runs and bike rides.

I wore this hat on a blustery winter day in Quebec while on the cross-country ski trails. It was absolutely perfect - I'm so glad I made the purchase. The pursuit hat has a lower profile--to fit my smaller head--better than the alpine hats (I did not buy it for use under a helmet). It does not have the warmth of the alpine hat (which is too warm for me for skiing), but it does have more warmth than the running hats. I did not find it to be too tight as some reviews stated. The headbands suffice for me on warmer skiing days, so I found the pursuit hat to be perfect on my cold skiing days.
Nice for cross country skiing and fits under the bike helmet.

Love all my skida products but this one is up at the top of the list these days! It's perfect for ski and skimo season, fitting snugly under all helmets and keeping me warm but not too hot. Love it.
A very comfortable fit especially under a helmet. Light weight breathes well.
Cute hat, runs small. The adult M/L size squeezes my average sized head so much I get a headache within 15 minutes.
Love the fit of the hat under my ski helmet. Neck gaiter is super warm. I like having two pieces instead of one balaclava. Easier to remove only one to cool down. Or add a piece to warm up!
Have been super happy with my Skida
Gear over the past five years. My kit supply is 7 hats(2 Alpine, 5 Nordic) sun tours, snow tours, and a balaclava. Recently stopped in the company store in Burlington to discover thei new Pursuit hat. Much more helmet friendly. I love it. The fit is perfect and the hat is now my go to for skiing. Great job!
I love Skida and have many items of various styles, including running hats. I got this for Christmas and just took the tag off as it’s the same size as other running hats that mostly fit. I love the design and additional elastic in this hat, but the fit is just…off? It fits so small and short, does not cover my ears, and is maybe for…a child? Other then being a true under the helmet cap, there is very little functionality to this hat because it’s so short/shallow and does not cover the ears- and pulled tight against the head, not super flattering. I would not wear this running or Nordic skiing. I am so bummed I took the tags off and cannot return for a size up

I have several Skida hats and love them all. This one is unique in that it is not fleece lined but has double fabric around the ears. It's perfect for that in between weather. I love the pattern and the colors on this one.
I was very disappointed with my pursuit hat. It fits too snug on my head and I think it really is only meant to be worn under a helmet. I really wanted to have a hat that I wouldn't have to keep pulling down as it crept up. I have a small head and most hats fit very nicely.

I, and many others, have small heads…. This hat can be worn under a helmet without bulk but for me I finally found a hat the actually fits! I loved it so much I have since purchased another! Thank you Skida! (FYI…kid sizes are just a bit too small)
These Skida hats are great - lightweight, easily fits in pocket or purse. The options between seemingly identical hats are confusing - pay a little more because it is supposed to stay in place on your head a little better. Pricing is steep, and then there is also shipping on top of that.

I REALLY want to love the hat — it is so close to perfection. But I was disappointed that it fits more like a swimming cap rather than the slouchy look most of the models have. Just another quarter to half inch of slouch would be perfect and then I would definitely give it 5 stars. For reference, I wear a size M Smith Forefront helmet.
first of all, the material is like butter and secondly, there is a slight compression that locks it on the head - NO MOVEMENT while running. also, i was pleased that it fits similar to my other skida hats (i bought my usual size s/m)
