I love the shape and pattern of this hat (I got Bitterroot), but I have a petite sized head and it’s just too big on me. Lots of loose fabric, which I know is part of the look on some people but it’s just too much fabric for small headed people. PLEASE MAKE THE PACKABLE RUNNING CAPS IN BITTEROOT PATTERN, that would solve my problem :) or make a S/M and L/XL versions of the original brim hat
Hat in the serendipity fabric was my absolute favorite hat! I wore it skiing and to the park all the time! Unfortunately, I lost it in a wave at the beach, so I ordered a new one. I ordered it in the bitterroot fabric since serendipity was no longer available. The fabric of this one was way shinier and stiffer than my last one in a way that I think made it look extra plasticky. Sad that it’s not the same fabric so I’m returning it. I wonder if any of the other current prints are made out of the same fabric as the one I loved! Bring back serendipity please!
This is my absolute FAVORITE hat of all time. I wear it trail running, hiking, for fun, on the river, to the gym, literally everywhere. It stays put on your head without having to tighten it down too much, even when it is SO windy. It’s so lightweight and not hot even on the hottest of days. It also does not hold smell somehow!!! Highly recommend, you won’t regret it!
So I own four and I think they are the perfect hat. Cute designs that are vibrant without being obnoxious, breath super well, hold up against constant wear and tear, don’t hold smell, easy to clean (even stuff that really stains!), they don’t deteriorate after being profusely sweat in or drowned in rain or creeks, can get climbing chalk out of them, are super easy to break in but then don’t crumble. Generally they are incredible and I want 12 more.
I recently lost all my hair (excuse some pictures with hair) and these have become my everyday staple. I get compliments on them constantly and put my friends onto them at any chance. If you think you want one, BUY IT! You will love it almost as much as it loves you. They might be a little more expensive than some other brands but these withstand everything and it makes them worth every penny. Buy one for you mom, your best friend, your spouse, and your least favorite coworker (they will like you after).
If you buy a Skida hat you will never have a bad hair day again.

This is my go to hat. I love its low profile, and fun pattern.
Bought the Elmore Brim hat, VT state parks edition. LOVE it. Love the color scheme, style, ability to travel with - can stuff in my messenger bag or luggage w/o worrying about ruining it. I appreciate the fit - wish the inner forehead area was a bit more rounded upon receiving (felt a bit stiff, didn’t exactly conform to the natural curvature of forehead initially but becomes more comfortable with wear). Love the materials - not afraid to get it wet - from outdoor water sports or sweat, dried quickly. Will have these little gem of a hat for a very long time!!! Thanks Skida!
This comes on every adventure. Wore it almost every day for three months in the Patagonian backcountry. I love this thing. I actually don’t know who I’d be without my skida hat.
I recently backpacked a section of the AT in PA, and had some unexpected rain on our hike out. My hat kept me dry and looking pretty damn cool. I have two Sunday hats and an alpine headband that I wear in regular rotation, and plan to buy more in the future.

I love the fit and material of these hats. I have a rather small head and my ears are high up, so a lot of baseball hats make me look like a kid in an adults hat. These fit me great!
I lost my first SKIDA hat at the beginning of July rip!! But I ordered a new one because they're too good and it was here before I knew it!! it basically hasn't left my head since!! I feel like a SKIDA hat does what a hat should do while also making sure you stand out in a crowd!!

New to the Skida brand but I’m outfitting myself for longer backpacks and a cotton lid just doesn’t cut it! I was made well aware of this during a 3 day backpack where on our initial hike in/ascent we were caught in an unrelenting downpour. The hat brim remained structured and was dry in no time once the rain finally ceased. It was a sunny evening but I continued to wear the hat wet as it was. I wore it for the next 2 full days of hiking and I was happy with the sun coverage and comfort. The little cinch strap on the back is easily adjusted without even taking the hat off. On a particularly windy ridge it was nice to tighten it quickly.
There were some very large but friendly bumble bees on our hike and they did attempt to pollinate my hat. Needless to say, the colors are bright and attractive. Got home and gave it a quick dunk in a very lightly soaped sink of water, rubbed off a little dirt and some needles and hung to dry, ready for the next adventure!

I have a large noggin so I wanted to love this gorgeous hat but it sits so shallow on the top of my head that I don’t know if it will stay on for running/hiking.

I have a small head and a round face, so 5 panel hats have a tendency to look too big and boxy on me. I wanted to take a chance on this hat because the pattern is adorable, and I wasn’t disappointed! It fits great and I wear it all the time!! Skida is turning me into a frequent hat wearer!

Disappointed
Hat size is too small. I have curly hair & a big head -so the hats just don’t work… Please Please make a bigger hat option.
