In 2018, I discovered Skida in the treatment room for New England Cancer Specialists. Alice was a couple months into her treatments. Her hair was gone from her chemo. Hats were too hot, and the typical head scarfs were as obvious
as a scarlet letter. Then I discovered Plus One. She loved how perfect it was. Not too hot. Not a beacon. And a perfect fashion statement. I purchased this hat for another family friend undergoing chemo. She loves her Jasmine hat. I’ve lost count of the number of hats headbands sun tours Alpine and Nordic hats I’ve bought for Alice, myself, and friends battling the demon cancer. Personally, my favorite was What The Flock. The pink flamingo a subtle reminder to replace the pink ribbon. Oh, the most important point, it’s a perfect solution for winter Nordic sports. It’s warm enough to wear and wicks moisture perfectly - and it’s not too hot.

Love this hat, have been looking for something that won't mess with my very fine thin hair. The bitteroot matches my jacket. It is so warm and cozy. Perfect for Idaho weather and daily walks, hikes and snowshoeing. Now I want more, love all the colors and prints.
I purchased Golden Girl running hat in size M/L. It's slightly big on me but the larger size was the only one available when I ordered. I live in northern MN and needed something with some bright orange and yellow colors. Golden Girl was the one that even remotely looked like blaze orange.. need that for hunting season. I got a matching bandana for my dog and it's perfect!

I love this hat because due to its many colors it goes with so many outfits. Comfortable, lightweight, yet gently snug feels so good! I have a traumatic brain injury and the hat feels so good when I wear it!

Springtime in the Rockies
Love the green on green print and recognition to Vermont State Parks. Five stars for featuring Vermont State Park staff in the picture! My three star review is based solely on the discomfort wearing the running hat. The inner band that fits across my forehead is stiff, scratchy and buckles. It's really quite uncomfortable. The wide flat brim (as opposed to a curved bill) takes some getting used to and may contribute to the lack of comfort on the forehead. I took it plus five other Skidas to Snowmass CO!
I absolutely love my new hat! The print is beautiful, and the fabric is so comfortable. I cannot wait to buy more, there are so many print options to choose from:)

I purchased my first Skida Nordic hat in 2020 on a fall college tour for my daughter that turned out to be colder than we had planned during a detour trip to Yellowstone NP. Since that time, I have worn that hat on countless hikes in Western WA, where it is the perfect weight. Recently, I thought I lost that hat and could not find anything like it in my local outdoor store, so I went back to old photos of me wearing it to look at the logo and try to figure out the brand of it so I could go directly to the source. I ordered a different patterned hat in the event that I found the original one. And of course, right after my new hat arrived, the old one was discovered in my Christmas decorations box. But that's OK, because now I have two beautiful and perfectly weighted and fitted hats! Thank yo for making such a great product!

Received my Battenkill Nordic hat just in time for our holiday trip to the Lake Placid/ Saranac Lake area. Our first two days there were quite chilly, nighttime lows dipping to 3 degrees! I enjoyed ice skating, snow tubing, and even a bobsled run while enjoying the warmth of my new hat ! Love it !
I love everything Skida but this hat is great for exercise to keep your head and ears warm when your sweating a bunch! I have a smaller noggin and got the S/M size. It held up on my Pacific Crest Trail thru-hike and I continue to use it for winter hiking up in the White Mountains. And as always, the prints are the BEST!

I want to love this hat! The print (Jasmine) is beautiful! The fabric is lovely and soft! The Skida size chart plus my tape measure clearly and unambiguously place me in size S/M. HOWEVER: the fabric is so slippery/slinky that the hat will not stay in place and pops off my head. It does not stay over my ears to keep them warm, and in reality doesn't have enough vertical height to cover them very well to begin with. I have to so constantly pull the hat back in place to keep it from falling off that I can't imagine wearing it for any type of vigorous exercise. In other words, it is basically useless. I'm trying to think of a way to modify it to fix these problems, but haven't yet hit on a solution. It is very frustrating, and I am very disappointed.

I’ve always loved the Skida prints and finally received a hat as a gift. Unfortunately the sizing is so short and does not provide any ear protection. It looks like it will fit a child’s head. For reference I have a small head and the s/m hat fits loose around my circumference but way too short, it falls at the top portion of my ear. I’m bummed the hat does not provide ear protection but I do love the colors!

It doesn’t stay in place! I love it so much but the fabric is slippery and my hair is smooth, so it slides up. So bummed!
