We bought this for our 6 month old for a winter trip. He has a larger head for his age and it fits perfectly with room to grow. Covering his ears and neck was key to keeping him comfy in the cold. So happy with our purchase!
Best kids balaclavas I’ve found. It doesn’t shift much during the day and protects those sweet baby cheeks and chin from the sun and cold. The fabric is soft and doesn’t chafe.
The baby hats fit my 6mo well and balaclava although toddler sized will help keep her cozy this winter. Thanks, Skida!

I love the Dalarna Balaclava. I had to purchase a Childs Balaclava because the adult one’s are way too big for me. (They are also too big for most of my girlfriends at Alta Ski area). The Childs is a bit tight but better than the huge adult one. I’m so sorry that you don’t have a balaclava that fits an average adult head just right.
Fits my average size 5 year old so well! She loves the print, has been wearing it daily since we got it for outdoor Forest preschool underneath her already owned Skida kids hat, as well as her under her ski helmet. Will absolutely be buying the adult size probably 1-2 years tops when she sizes out of this one.
I’m a 40 year old female with a very small head (size xs ski helmet) and struggled with all other adult balaclavas I’ve tried because there was too much fabric for my little head and helmet. This kids size fits perfectly under my helmet. I will be purchasing another!

We recently purchased our daughter the Serendipity Kids Balaclava for our xc trip to Trapp Family Lodge--our last Skida purchases were a few years back (mostly neck warmers for the whole family). This is my child's first balaclava so I was worried they wouldn't like having something on their face. They love strawberries, that may have helped. Either way they were excited to wear it and show it off. I pack it to take to preschool where they play outside for a couple hours every day and they were wearing it.
Light and cute, easy to pull up or of the mouth covering. Great way to protect the face from the cold air.

Only suggestion would be to have more little boy choices

I got this for my 3.5 year old daughter and the matching one for myself. We LOVE our Skida Balaclavas. They are comfortable, warm and breathable. I know as an adult that keeping my face covered helps keep me warmer but sometimes it’s hard to talk a kid into that, but with these- they are comfortable enough that she doesn’t really notice- plus she likes to match mom. And we look cute and cheerful, not like a pair of bank robbers. I’ll absolutely be purchasing an alpine hat as well as another balaclava for baby brother.
This fits my 8 year old son perfectly. The fabric is great; warm but doesn’t make you sweat and dries quickly from nose and mouth moisture when you need to be completely covered up. Skida is our favorite brand for adult and kid balaclavas!
The kids balaclavas fits perfect on my 3 year old, and slightly large for our 1 year old (but still fits enough to wear)! It’s been an essential clothing item during our -20°F to -40 weather.
This is a great quality balaclava and my child leaves on, which is a plus.
This was a Christmas present, and the child love it and he will use it all the time while skiing.
