Full-time Position
Location: Skida HQ, Burlington, Vermont
The eCommerce Specialist owns day-to-day operations, site performance, and technical troubleshooting for skida.com and its digital marketplaces, executing on-site optimizations that deliver a seamless, brand-aligned customer experience. Partnering with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and vendors, the eCommerce Specialist will support the development and execution of Skida's eCommerce strategy and campaigns to meet sales and growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Merchandising & Campaign Execution
- Execute day-to-day product presentation, site navigation, and on-site merchandising to support strong sell-through and conversion goals.
- Coordinate seasonal campaign updates on the homepage and landing pages in partnership with the Marketing and Brand teams.
- Build and launch products on Shopify, ensuring Collections, Product Display Pages (PDPs), digital assets, inventory details, and descriptions are accurate, complete, and SEO-optimized.
- Implement approved UX and merchandising updates following routine site audits and lead the selection and formatting of imagery to ensure a visually beautiful and compelling brand presentation.
- Monitor inventory availability on the storefront to ensure product listings stay aligned with live inventory levels.
Channel Support & Performance Tracking
- Track daily and weekly sales pacing, traffic, and conversion metrics, escalating performance anomalies and trends to team leads.
- Maintain product listings and storefronts across emerging social commerce and digital marketplaces (such as Shop App, TikTok Shop, and Amazon).
- Assist in maintaining catalog accuracy and troubleshooting feed integrations across all third-party channels.
Site Optimization & Reporting
- Generate regular performance reports using Shopify Analytics, GA4, Klaviyo, and Meta Ads to track KPIs like conversion rate, AOV, and bounce rate.
- Coordinate A/B testing setups and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) changes using tools like Hotjar, RetentionX, and Shopify apps.
- Support tracking and pixel implementation to ensure accurate data flow and marketing attribution.
Collaboration & Operations
- Liaise with Customer Experience and Operations teams to quickly troubleshoot front-end site bugs, checkout errors, and post-purchase hurdles.
- Keep digital project management boards (Asana) updated with milestones, task progress, and launch asset statuses.
- Organize assets and briefs for agency partners to align paid media, SEO, and email campaigns with upcoming on-site promotions.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, digital marketing, or site merchandising (consumer goods or apparel preferred).
- Solid, hands-on experience with Shopify (Plus preferred) and familiarity with GA4 and email/SMS platforms like Klaviyo.
- Familiarity with on-site optimization tactics and tools (e.g., Hotjar, RetentionX, or equivalent Shopify apps).
- Strong eye for detail with an understanding of basic UX/UI principles and e-commerce best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage tight asset-delivery timelines and multiple product launches.
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a desire to learn new digital tools and technologies.

Full-Time, In-Person Position
Location: Burlington, Vermont
Skida is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to lead retail store operations and manage events within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, driving sales performance, maintaining a high standard of customer service and visual merchandising, and ensuring our events are well planned and executed. The ideal candidate will bring a background in retail leadership, a passion for style, and a proven ability to manage and develop a team to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the flagship store, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Lead, train, and motivate the showroom team to meet and exceed sales
targets, adhere to service standards, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a beautifully merchandised floor. - Provide outstanding customer service by personally engaging with
customers and resolving issues effectively. - Create and maintain visual merchandising displays to inspire and delight, showcasing storytelling and breadth of product assortment. Plan and execute in-store displays and seasonal showroom updates.
- Plan, organize, execute, and attend events to drive foot traffic, enhance
brand visibility, and to achieve sales goals. - Implement loyalty programs and initiatives to encourage repeat business and customer retention.
- Plan and organize Annual Sidewalk Sale event, ensuring sales goals are met.
- Monitor inventory levels for both the showroom and back stock and enter sales orders to ensure timely replenishment.
- Generate reports on sales, customer feedback, and operational efficiency; provide insights to management.
- Create the weekly schedule for part-time staffing, ensuring proper
coverage and efficient use of resources. - Understand and execute cash flow procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in retail or showroom management
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays when the store is open
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
- Experience with inventory management and merchandising
- Organizational and multitasking abilities

Full-time, Hourly Position
Location: Burlington, Vermont
Reports To: Production Manager
Skida is seeking an experienced sewer to join our In-House Production team! This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled sewist who enjoys fast-paced production work, prototype development, and collaborating across teams to bring high-quality products to life. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, creative, and confident working across sewing, finishing, and quality checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality sewn products in-house with accuracy and efficiency
- Support urgent and quick-turn requests while maintaining quality standards
- Create prototype samples for new product ideas and product improvements
- Complete finishing tasks such as heat pressing, hang tagging, and labeling
- Inspect materials and finished work to approve quality; identify and communicate any quality issues
- Adhere to specific due dates for project completion
- Responsible for tracking finished products on a daily and weekly basis
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Operations, and Logistics to keep work moving smoothly.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong technical sewing skills and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfort working with finishing equipment and detailed post-production tasks
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in production sewing, industrial sewing, or technical sample making.
- Experience working with multiple fabric types and construction methods.
- Familiarity with finishing processes like heat press transfer or custom labeling.
- Experience with prototyping, product development, or small-batch production
- Ability to identify defects, troubleshoot quality issues, and communicate solutions clearly.
