Marketing

Full-time Position
Location: Skida HQ, Burlington, Vermont

Skida is hiring a Content Coordinator to join the Skida Marketing Team. This position will be responsible for creating and managing all website pages, the organization of Skida’s catalog of imagery, and coordinating sample hand-off to photographers. This role will have a strong understanding of Skida’s Shopify template, content library, and provide suggestions for best use of imagery for compelling marketing campaigns and blog stories.

Responsibilities:

Content Coordinator
• Responsible for the creation and management of all new SKUs, PDPs, and collections in Shopify, including product tagging, uploading of product descriptions, on-white imagery and lifestyle imagery
• Manage photo samples and orchestrate timely hand-off of samples to be photographed
• Organize, compress, and upload photos for website
• Maintain the blog and create new stories by uploading imagery and copy per direction of Brand Marketing Director and Brand Designer
• Keep content library organized through file name tagging and folders in Dropbox
• Select and share imagery to support Sales and Marketing initiatives, such as wholesale catalog and key account content sharing
• Conduct “content debrief” for each branded campaign to support multi-channel marketing outreach
• Make image selects for digital lookbook feature on website by Print Collection
• Support Design and Marketing team in executing new product development and go-to-market initiatives throughout the season.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant work, school, or internship experience
• Creative and strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Operations

Full-time (32+ hrs/week) and Part-time (15+ hrs/week) Positions Available

Location: Skida HQ, Burlington, Vermont

Skida is seeking full-time and part-time fulfillment employees to join our awesome warehouse team! This
position will assist in picking and packing orders, organizing, and stocking inventory, moving boxes, and keeping our fulfillment areas clean. The ideal candidate will be positive, self-motivated, detail oriented, and have the ability to communicate effectively as part of a tight knit team. Experience with pack & ship is a plus. Must be available to work some holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Fulfillment & Shipping
Prep all packing for the day, printing order forms and shipping labels
• Pack and ship e-commerce orders daily from skida.com within 2-3 business days
• Pack and ship wholesale orders, both pre-booked and ASAP orders on schedule.
• Assist in shipping all donations, PR product, and custom orders
• Receive incoming shipments, collect, and sort mail daily
• Work with team on the preseason pack schedule and keep the team informed of any updates made and status of shipping.

Warehouse Organization

• Organize and create space for all new products in storage and fulfillment
• Work with team to ensure that all products are restocked and organized in the fulfillment tables and in storage
• Periodically map storage for upcoming products and new prints
• Keep the fulfillment area clean and take out the trash and recycling as needed throughout the day or at the end of the day
• Conduct supply counts as needed and keep materials organized (hangtags, labels,etc.)

Inventory

• Participate in the finishing of products as needed i.e. tagging or carding product
• Complete stock takes for products as needed, identifying products that are missing from inventory or have incorrect inventory
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to the supervisor
• Report any low shipping materials that need to be ordered to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Qualified applicants should have attention to detail, work well in a fast-paced, team environment, be able to lift at least 30 lbs., and the ability to work on their feet for extended periods
• Ability to work some Saturdays and Holidays, as necessary (limited)
• Ability to learn quickly (processes, shipping software, product portfolio) 
• Experience in fulfillment, shipping, warehouse operations is a plus

Skida is seeking an experienced sewer to join our In-House Production team! This position will assist in the production of finished goods. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. A passion for local production is a plus!  

Responsibilities:
• Sew finished goods as directed by the team lead
• Responsible for tracking finished products on a daily and weekly basis
• Apply finishings to finished goods as needed (i.e. tagging and bagging)
• Other duties and responsibilities may include being trained in applying heat transfers and custom labels to finished goods

Requirements:
• Experience sewing and following a pattern
• Experience sewing with a serger machine
• Strong attention to detail
