Since discovering Skida in the Treatment Room of New England Cancer Specialist and their Plus One program, I have been a loyal fan and advocate. I have lost count over the number of Nordic Hats I have purchased. It is the perfect hat for those who have lost their hair from Chemo Treatments- Its light enough to wear indoors and has excellent breathability and warm enough to wear in cool to cold weather.
Personally- I love them because I had been looking for the perfect XC Ski/ Snowshoeing Hat. Wools are too warm...Headbands dont hold in the heat in colder weather. It's perfect- it allows controlled warmth- without being to hot. It does not get saturated with sweat so you dont run the risk of frostbite from frozen perspiration.
